Microsoft is building a Copilot 'super app' that combines the assistant's chat, coding, and agentic capabilities into a single application, the company confirmed this week. CEO Satya Nadella disclosed the plan during an earnings call on Wednesday, saying the app will launch this year.
Nadella said the app will span 'both consumer and commercial experiences,' positioning Copilot as a unified layer across individual users and enterprise operations rather than a set of separate tools.
