Firebird has officially opened an AI factory in Armenia, positioning the country as an emerging hub for high-performance computing and AI infrastructure. The facility represents the first step in a broader expansion built around Nvidia hardware.
According to the company's roadmap, the Armenian site is slated to scale to more than 70,000 Nvidia GPUs by 2027. If realized, the build-out would place the operation among the world's larger concentrated AI compute clusters.
The move underscores the growing global competition to secure specialized AI compute and highlights Armenia's ambitions to become a key player in the AI infrastructure landscape.
