Atlassian improved the performance of its flagship products, Jira and Confluence, running on Arm Neoverse-based AWS Graviton instances, according to a post published by Arm's newsroom.
The optimization effort combined production-scale testing, JVM tuning, and workload-specific optimization to extract better performance from the Arm Neoverse architecture underlying Graviton.
As a result, Atlassian increased per-instance throughput, lowered P90 latency, and reduced costs across more than 3,000 EC2 instances.
